okay, so i have joked about doing "fugazi photo of the day" and how i have enough photos of them to do a complete year, well, here we go.

actually, it will just be a photo a day (or two) until i leave for Europe October 10, as a lead up to the release of Fugazi's two new records on Dischord -- the full length The Argument and the Furniture+2 seven inch/CDEP. Both releases come out on October 8 in Europe and October 15 (my birthday), in North America.

this show was a day or two after the Warped Tour with all your favourite Epi-fat bands and booths marketting everything from pop to video game systems to skate clothing, so seeing Fugazi was a nice break from all that crap. however, the turnout for Fugazi was low and was blamed on the Warped Tour. more room for the rest of us in the venue.

i managed to procure a copy of the new Fugazi CD and EP last night, things are looking good for the Photo Centre i run at Carleton University (which was temporarily shut down and looking at permanent closure) and i picked up my plane tickets for Europe (eight days and counting) so i am in a pretty good mood.

otherwise, i don't have much to say today. rockets red glare just showed up on my doorstep and i wanted to get this updated before heading over to the show.
